Changing Places - 1981 (recorded 1984) Live
Why "Changing Places"? Places can have a cathartic function and emotions and reactions. But "change places" not always solves a pain or even sometimes increases the discomfort. A sort of "nail crushing nail." The same goes for love. Pass from love to love does not bring nothing but an empty feeling. From the title track "Changing Places", the text says it best: " changing places, changing people, my life is changing colors, my life changed atmosphere, changing music, music is the same, my name is always the same .
"Changing Places", this collection was born in 1981, with the songs already in this sequence is already arranged in my head. The songs were written giustappunto around Italy, changing places ... But in 1984 I was able to affect. Three of these pieces in the meantime had entered the repertoire of Inner NAIL, the "garage band" or more precisely "attic-band" of which I was part from 1981 to 1984: LAMP, BAR, DESIRE.

WAITING (Solitude) cover of " Show Of Strength", a beautiful song from English band Echo & The Bunnymen. " The text was one of my very long poem that came to power in shaping the piece. The Waiting about a search for life and love, for identity to be defined, the metaphor of an appointment that does not come across anyone as life goes on in the mind and before my eyes like a movie.

A step by step I got this music from Lou Reed to Patti Smith, Tom Verlaine to Siouxsie, and recovering from the past, Velvet Underground, The Doors, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix. But something had changed since 1980 already. Police, Dire Straits, Talking Heads, U2, Can, The Clash and more production details, more or less decadent or electronic, such as Magazine, the Associates, Devo, Ultravox, the Ludus, etc..
already collected in the last two "acoustic", EYE (1979) and "in a crystal ..." (1980), my music had changed, the songs and voice were much more "rock". At this point a change was needed by the orchestra acoustic (guitar and / or floor) to an orchestra "electric" and "electronic". This step was necessary to buy an electric guitar, bass, drum machine, recorder tracks but most go for the experience of a group, the trio "Inner NAIL."
